No. COITB does not deliver training, courses, or bootcamps. COITB is a non-profit credentialing body that provides industry-recognized certification exams to validate real-world skills. Candidates may prepare through self-study, employer training, military training, bootcamps, college coursework, or other learning resources, then use COITB’s free practice assessment at coitb.org/assessment to gauge exam readiness.

The MySQL Backend Developer Certification validates production-oriented database abilities: relational schema design, normalization, SELECT queries, JOINs, GROUP BY, HAVING, subqueries, CTEs, indexes, query optimization, stored procedures, functions, triggers, transactions, ACID properties, data types, constraints, foreign keys, referential integrity, and integration with backend application code. COITB exams are available as online remote-proctored exams from any U.S. location and most international locations, subject to proctor availability windows.
